Belated HoliGlazes

Well, here's a picture I took back before Christmas, I think, and forgot to post - all the China Glazes:
USUAL DISCLAIMER: China Glaze gave me these polishes in a promotional giveaway, with no obligation to write about them or do anything else whatsoever with them!

If I've got this right, this is (top row): Bells Will Be Blinging, Your Present Required, Be Merry! Be Bright, So Blue Without You; (second row) This is Tree-Mendous, All Wrapped Up, Put a Bow On It, Santa Red My List (which despite the name, is pink); (third row) Mingle With Kringle, Just Be-Claws, Elfin' Around, There's Snow One Like You (texture), and the Travel In Colour mini.

I ran out of time before Christmas and still haven't tried but maybe four of these. (I'm going to have to figure out a way to incorporate that white texture somewhere, somehow, while it's still winter. It'll be a challenge.) (Hmm, I also put them on a wheel and I have no idea what became of that. I'm sure I'll find it eventually, though!)

(Written Saturday night - although if I stay on the one-entry-a-day posting schedule you won't see this until Monday!)

I took off Alcatraz Rocks, because I washed my hair and dinged it up, and it'd been a couple of days anyway and I was ready to change again. Since I am talking about buying more PixieDust, I figured it was a good idea to try the one I have before I buy more. I got Liberty around the 4th of July last year, as I recall (in another promo) and before I got around to trying it I had a staining incident with another bright blue (I think it was Cabo Cruise, and I hope I'm not slamming it unfairly because I don't feel like looking it up right now!) and I spent the whole rest of the summer staying away from blues lest I stain my nails again. I don't really know why I care since my nails are always covered up, anyway, but it bothered me. So that is an untried I can knock out, and also my nails - especially my right thumbnail, which for some reason stained the worst on both these occasions, although I have no idea why that might be - are already stained very yellow so it can't look much worse. I guess it might turn green! The culprit there (with the yellow, I mean) had to have been the gold Christmas manicure (which means it was the gold China Glaze in the picture above, actually). Liberty so far looks really pretty although certainly very bright. (My husband thinks it's gorgeous. Who knew sparkly blue nail polish would turn him on? - He liked Alcatraz Rocks, too, for that matter.) It has a slightly rougher texture than the OPI but nothing to signify.

(Hmm, I used that phrase before I thought about it too much, but "nothing to signify" is a phrase that gets used a lot in Regency romance novels, which is what I've been reading, again. This one, to be exact. That woman has written a lot of them and I've been gradually working through them for months now. I'm finally about to get to the last of them that are readily available, which makes me sad. I'll have to find something new to read, now!)
